Eight coaches have been summoned to handle the team that will have two camps after the first elimination fight.

Muslim boxers have, however, been advised to suspend their fasting in order to stay in shape.

“I am a Muslim but the Holy Koran tells us to forego the fasting period in case of an emergency and pay later. For the good of the nation and our own, we may have to forego the fasting this year or payback after the All Africa Games," advised Coach Idris Kabuye.
