On Saturday they beat Police 3-0 at Nsambya to tally five wins with the other being 3-1 wins against Kampala University (KU), Prisons and Sky 3-1.

Coach Nason Bwesigye attributed the unbeaten run to the team's focus on their game plan and determination to achieve the target set.

"Our strength is on the introduction of the liberal on the team to boost the reception which is working, but also we set a target of going unbeaten in the first games of the league and we have achieved it," Bwesigye said.

In the other games played on Saturday, KU lost 3-1 to KCCA, Sport S smashed Matrix 3-0, former champions KAVC defeated Prisons 3-0 while Nemostars crashed KU 3-0 in the games played at Nsambya.

Nemostars tactician Andrew Okapis is not worried about the opening loss and believes that his boys will make it to the playoffs.

"I must admit we played badly our opening game against UCU, but it is too early to start thinking of the trophy. What I can assure you is that we shall qualify for the playoffs and we are out to defend our title," Okapis said.

The league continues on Saturday and Sunday.
