St. Lawrence moved to the top of the National Beach Soccer League table standings following their 2-1 victory over defending champions Isabeti over the weekend at Mutoola Resort Beach in Ntenjeru, Mukono district.
 
The victory saw the Kampala based side team move to 30 points, two above second placed MUBS. Jonathan Kikonyogo’s brace saw St. Lawrence register their tenth victory with seven games left to climax the regular season while Somoka Roch scored a consolation for Isabeti.
 
Elsewhere, Buganda Royal moved third (27 points) on the log after playing to 3-3 draw with MS Sand Lions while last season runners up, went down to Stormers 5-3 before beating hosts Mutoola 3-2.
 
Isabeti beat KIU 8-3 in the final to walk away with the men’s title last season, while Muteesa 1 Royal University were declared the champions in the women league after topping the table with 30 points.
