Four players to represent Uganda in the Davis Cup

The four who include; David Oringa, Simon Ayella, Frank Tayebwa, and Edward Birungi were picked from a team of nine players who underwent three days trials at Lugogo.

 
Four players will represent Uganda in the Davis Cup in Congo Brazzaville from June 26-29.
 
The four who include; David Oringa, Simon Ayella, Frank Tayebwa, and Edward Birungi were picked from a team of nine players who underwent three days trials at Lugogo.
 
Boris Aguma and Duncan Mugabe won't be part of the Davis Cup since they will be in Germany and the USA respectively for different tennis competitions.

The Davis Cup tournament that will be held on hard courts at the Complex Sportif De Kintele will be played in a round robin format with the top two countries from both groups qualifying to the next round. 
 
Uganda will face stiff competition from hosts Congo Brazzaville, Botswana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Rwanda, and Gabon.
