LWF-Uganda is a country program of the larger Lutheran World Federation (LWF), an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. Since 1979, LWF has worked in Uganda to empower communities to achieve their full potential, claim their universal rights, meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. The national headquarters, based in Kampala, oversee the overall management of 8 sub-programs responsible for the implementation of humanitarian and development projects across the country.

LWF-Uganda implements various initiatives aimed at empowering the targeted beneficiaries (both refugees and nationals) in the program catchment areas to take control of their development and strengthen their economic prospects. These initiatives cut across different sectors like WASH, Livelihoods, Protection, Food Security, Health and Education. These initiatives are implemented across LWF sub program locations in these respective districts i.e. Kyenjojo, Lamwo, Kikuube, Adjumani, Luuka, Kitgum, Pader and Moyo.

The LWF-Uganda program has been operational in Uganda, working in humanitarian response and development. The national headquarters is based in Kampala, with an additional 8 sub-programs located throughout the country, in the districts of Moyo, Adjumani, Lamwo, Kamwenge, Kyangwali, Kitgum, Pader and Luuka.

With funds received from UNHCR, LWF plans to carry out works described below, for Moyo Refugee Settlement. As such, LWF invites interested, eligible and competent fi rms to bid through open domestic bidding.
