The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU)’s mission is to regulate and monitor the petroleum sector
Since the inauguration of the Board of Directors in October 2015, the Authority has grown to 90 staff out of the planned 224 staff . The PAU has formulated a three-year strategic plan based on the four pillars of Insti tuti onal building, enabling explorati on, to increase the resource base; facilitati ng commercialisati on of the discovered oil and gas resources and enhancing the impact and sustainability of the petroleum sector.
