Crested Cranes coach Faridah Bulega is confident that her team will bounce back despite losing 3-2 to Ethiopia in the first leg of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games women football qualifier.

"The game was really tough but the good thing, we managed to score away goals. We are confident that we have the potential to win at home. We just need to beat our opponents 1-0 and we make it to the third round," stated Bulega as her side prepares for return leg this Saturday at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

The Crested Cranes who jetted into the country on Thursday from Addis Ababa never gave up despite the home side leading 3-0. They kept looking for an away goal and their efforts paid off with two late strikes.

The winner of the two legs will qualify to meet Cameroon in yet another knockout meeting to determine who makes it to the third round.
