Kadaga was flown to the Aga Khan Hospital last week on advice of her doctors after being briefly hospitalised at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala.
President Yoweri Museveni, who concludes his three-day state visit to Kenya today (Friday), began his day with a visit to the mausoleum bearing the remains of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta before visiting former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and later Speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
At the mausoleum in the precincts of Parliament, President Museveni was received by the Senate Speaker, Ken Lusaka, and Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, who accompanied him as he laid a wreath and paid respects to Kenya's founding father and first post-independence president.
Thereafter, he visited Kenya's second president Daniel Toroitich arap Moi at the Moi Hospital before moving to the Aga Khan Hospital where he visited Speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
Kadaga was flown to the Aga Khan Hospital last week on the advice of her doctors after being briefly hospitalised at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala.
She had been admitted to the hospital after complaining of fatigue and jetlag following a hectic working tour that had seen her travel to Morroco and the USA.
The President is slated to address students of Kenyatta University this afternoon as he concludes his visit.
