Mike Mutebi has told his KCCA players they will have to be virtually flawless between now and the end of the season if they are to win their 13th premier league title.

Mutebi's remarks come as KCCA travel to Jinja to play Kirinya today as the league gets into the final bend.

"If the players do what they are supposed to do, then we shall win and this will enhance our chances of trying to win the title.

"Though we have been in a break, I am really satisfied with the response from my players. All the players are in good shape except Julius Poloto who is out with a knock. We know it is a difficult game but we have everything it takes to win the game," stated Mutebi.

KCCA, currently top of the log with 49 points, settled for a 1-1 draw with Tooro United in their last league game before the international break.

If KCCA fail to pick maximum points and second-placed Vipers (45 points) beat Maroons then the point gap will be reduced to one.

Kirinya who have won their last three games are enjoying a rich vein of form.

"It's going to be competitive and interesting for the fans to watch. We have been in a break which might be a challenge but we are at home and we have to prove that we can finish among the top five.

"KCCA are top of the league and more exposed than us but we are ready for them," noted Kirinya tactician Abbey Kikomeko whose team is in the eighth position with 33 points.
