KCCA opened up a three-point gap in the in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table standings.

The Lugogo side beat SC Villa 4-2 to on Sunday at StarTimes stadium to move to 48 points, three above second-placed Vipers.

KCCA had a commanding 4-0 lead before they conceded two goals for the score to end 4-2. Mike Mutyaba opened the lead for KCCA in the three minutes to half time when he powered the ball past SC Villa goalkeeper Saidi Keni off a well laid pass by Allan Kyambadde.

Kyambadde who had a tremendous performance against his former side bounced back with an assist that saw left-back Musafa Kizza make it 2-0 for the KCCA in the 50th minute.

Kyambadde made 3-0 in the 58th minute before Allan Okello scored a penalty three minutes later after Asuman Harishe brought him down.

Substitute Charles Lwanga gave SC Villa hope when scored in the 66th minute after KCCA FC goalkeeper Charles Lukwago failed to hold the ball.

Ambrose Kirya added other the Jogoos eight minutes to normal time.
