Pupil vanishes after he's told to repeat primary five

Police in Kitintale, a suburb in Nakawa division, Kampala, has started combing the area in search of for a primary five pupil of Bishop Cyprian Kihangare Primary School, Luzira, who went missing after his uncle asked him to repeat a class.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, Kenneth Kidega, 13, was last seen scaling the school's wall fence on Friday.

It is alleged that Kidega's uncle suggested that he at least repeats P5 class due to his poor performance, which he refused.

Onyango added that Kidega was last seen dressed in a school uniform (pair of grey shorts and checkered shirt) and to this day, his whereabouts are not known.

"The case is registered at Kitintale Police Post under reference SD 12/09/02/2019, anyone with information that can lead to his recovery, call 0718851336, 0714667791 and 0773199865," said Onyango.
