Express appealed a decision by the committee banning Birungi for reportedly attacking match officials.

The FUFA Disciplinary Committee has reduced Express' midfielder Michael Birungi's ban from four to two games.

Last week, Express appealed a decision by the committee banning Birungi for reportedly attacking match officials after their 1-0 loss to Tooro United at Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal.

The assistant captain who missed Express's 1-0 defeat to BUL on Sunday will miss one more game against Nyamityobora on Wednesday. He will be available for the next game on February 18 against his former side Police in the Uganda Cup round of 16 at Wankulukuku.

Meanwhile, Express has Brian Umony as the only fit striker. Eric Kambale and Tony Odur are injured.
