Ggaba seminary rector calls on Catholics to be exemplary

The Rector of Saint Mbaaga's Seminary, Ggaba, Fr Dr Joseph Sserunjoji has asked Catholic religious men and women to be faithful to the religious vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, which they take during their consecration.
He made the remarks during the thanksgiving function of Sr Eva Nanteza, a member of the Catholic religious institute of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix (also called the Gogonya Sisters), who made her perpetual vows recently.
Sr Eva's thanksgiving mass took place at her parents' home at Kazo, in Nansana Municipality.

Dr Sserunjoji described Sr Nanteza as a committed and focused religious sister, who demonstrated amazing wisdom when she was studying philosophy and theology at St Mbaaga's Seminary, Ggaba. He said Sr Nanteza was one of her brilliant students, who also got a first class degree in philosophy and theology.
Sserunjoji finally thanked Sr Nanteza for listening to God who called her to serve the Catholic Church as a religious. He asked her to stick to Jesus and also, never to forsake God, who called her and also gave her the grace and courage to take her perpetual vows.
Sr Eva's parents, Christine Kayiga and Vincent Ssengo thanked the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix, the Archbishop of Kampala Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga and all the priests for loving and giving their daughter spiritual and material support.
Sr Eva also thanked her parents, relatives, friends and all those that have assisted her in the journey of her religious life. She asked Christians to keep her in their prayers.
The function was also graced by the parish-priests of Bwayise, the Rt Rev Msgr John Baptist Ssebayigga and several other priests, who included her classmates at St Mbaaga's Major Seminary, Ggaba.
Rev Sr Nanteza was appointed to the Chancery of the metropolitan archdiocese of Kampala.
