Cwinyai leads national team qualifiers

Cwinyai is now poised to return to the team as one of the senior members after the second round of qualifiers at Kitante on Tuesday.
Tooro Club golfer Joseph Cwinyai carded 144 gross to lead the national team qualifiers' first round played at Entebbe Club on Monday.

He alongside Daniel Baguma, who returned the same score are the most experienced members who remain on the team many of the others having turned pro last year after they won the Zone IV Africa Golf Championship in Nairobi.
The top 20 players after today's round will be selected as the Uganda National Team. Over 100 players from around the country participated in the two-day qualifiers.
The top players will continue preparations for tournaments such as the All Africa Junior Championships, the Zone V Championship, the Juniors Open in St. Andrews, Scotland in July, the Victoria Cup and the East African Challenge (Zone IV).
