Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala has celebrated 92 years in a low-key event where he cut cake and briefly interacted with his guests.

The ceremony was attended by about 20 people including Vice-President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi.

It was held yesterday at the priests’ residence in Nsambya suburbs.

“I thank God I for my 92nd birthday .it's not easy but it was God's Grace.” he remarked during an interaction with Ssekandi.

Clad in his white cassock and donning a red cap, Cardinal Wamala chitchatted with his guests for at least thirty minutes before he retired to his quarters.
