Kobusingye left a 3-year-old baby

ACCIDENT

Winnie Kobusingye, 27, a businesswoman and one of the people who perished in the boat accident left behind a three-year-old baby boy.

Kobusingye, a resident of Ggaba, Kampala was dealing in shoes in down town Kampala.

Her sister Maggie Mbabazi describes her as a loving and caring woman. She was a daughter of Francis Lugambagye of Gulama along Kyotera road in Masaka. Mbabazi said the body was still at the city mortuary in Mulago.

Her friends described her as a kind beauty and a staunch Catholic. She was recently actively involved in the wedding of her brother only known as John, a car dealer at Pine car bond and a resident of Wakiso town.

Her sister says she does not even know who convinced her to go for the boat cruise that has ended her life.

She says burial will be at her ancestral home in Masaka.
