Bid notice from Ministry of Water and Environment

The Government of the Republic of Uganda has received funds from African Development Bank to be used for the implementation of the Solar-PV Powered Mini-Piped Water Supply Schemes (SPMWS) Project.

The Ministry of Water and Environment intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds for eligible firms under the contracts for Lots 1 and 2 for Construction of Solar Powered Mini-Piped Water Supply Schemes in Rural Areas of Uganda.

1. The Government of Uganda through Ministry of Water & Environment has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of One 4WD Double Cabin Pick-up to Facilitate Field Activities Along River Nile Under Support to Hydropower Project. 
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. 
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, Regulations 2014 and is open to all bidders. 
4. This procurement is subject to exclusive reservation scheme of public contracts by threshold to local providers.
