Mbarara City cruised to the top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table standings after edging visiting BUL FC at Kakyeka stadium Tuesday.

The result pushed the Ankole Lions to 16 points, one above KCCA, Vipers and Bright Stars.

side.

Former KCCA FC midfielder Paul Mucureezi, remained the key pillar for Mbarara as he netted the only goal just after
30 minutes - giving his side their third consecutive win this season.

Earlier, they had defeated Paidha Black Angels and SC Villa 2-0 and 2-1 respectively.

in the 9th minute before Brian Kayanja leveled matters for Bright Stars five minutes before recess.

This was Express second game without win since they pulled a similar1-1 draw against Vipers last week.
