Hasifah Nassuna's goal saw UCU Lady Cardinals go top of the standings in the Elizabeth Group of the FUFA Women Elite League.
Elsewhere, Olila managed to pick up two points from their two games in Kampala on Saturday and Sunday.
The Soroti based side settled for 1-1 and a goalless draw with Kampala Queens and Uganda Martyrs respectively.
Despite losing some of their dependable players, Olila seems to have remained a strong side and are ready to challenge for the title.
In the other game, Kawempe Muslim ended Muteesa 1 Royal University's unbeaten run with a 2-0 win over them.
The victory saw Kawempe Muslim go to seven points, one above Muteesa and Ajax Queens.
Juliet Nalukenge and Anita Namata each had a goal for Kawempe Muslim who are seeking to win their fifth league title.
