The ministry has since released photos of President Kagame meeting with Kutesa, although by press time, details of the package remained secret.
According to the foreign affairs ministry, Kutesa had earlier met with Dr. Richard Sezibera and congratulated him upon his recent appointment as Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-operation and East African Community.
Sezibera replaces Louise Mushikiwabo, who was on October 12 elected Secretary General of the Oraganisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) member countries.
Sezibera was the 4th Secretary General of the East African Community.
