Rally drivers in title decider

The Elgon rally will cover a total distance of 264.78km.
The 2018 Edition of the Elgon Rally was launched on Wednesday at Oryx Lugogo station and drivers will for two days battle for honours.
The rally fuelled by Oryx Energies will be the decider of who wins the 2018 National rally championship, and will enable motorsport fans tour the Eastern parts of the country such as Mbale, Budaka and Manafwa districts.
The rally will cover a total distance of 264.78km ,of which 176.25km will be competitive with the longest section being 33.29kms, and shortest 3kms.
While launching the event, the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi urged the Government to increase sports funding.
