Comoros referee to take charge of Cranes vs Lesotho game

Africa soccer governing body (CAF) has appointed match officials for the 2019 AFCON return leg qualifier between Lesotho and Uganda.
Ali Mohammed Adelaid from Comoros will be in charge of the game as the centre referee. He will be assisted by fellow countrymen Soulaimane Amaldine and Said Omar Chebli as the first and second assistant referees' respectively.
In a related development, as Uganda Cranes confronts Lesotho this evening, they will be welcoming back defender Murushid Jjuuko in the team.
Jjuuko missed Cranes' 3-0 victory over Lesotho in the first leg last weekend as he was on suspension after accumulating two yellow cards in the qualifiers.
His return in the team has given Cranes vice-captain Hassan Wasswa more confidence ahead of the tie.
"We know the reason why we traveled to Lesotho. The morale is high in the camp and this is good motivation for us as players," noted Wasswa
Cranes just need three points against Lesotho to qualify for the 2019 AFCON finals in Cameroon are top in Group L (seven points) which consists of Tanzania, Lesotho and Cape Verde. Cape Verde is second with four points while Lesotho and Tanzania each has two points each.
