Onduparaka stuns SC Villa with upset win in Premier League

Rashid Toha scored one of the fastest Uganda Super League goals as Onduparaka upset 16 time champions SC Villa Wednesday.

The towering defender struck from a free kick one minute into the Namboole match giving new coach Asaph Mwebaze his second straight win.

From then on the Arua side was in charge until the second half when the Jogoos came alive.

Joseph Semujju and Bashir Mutanda then wasted opportunities to cancel the lead.

Villa were making good build-ups but simply couldn't deliver in the final third as the Toha commanded defence kept them at bay.

Ndejje University also secured their first top league win after beating fellow newcomers Mbarara City by a lone goal.

But the most dramatic match was at Wankulukuku where Bright Stars came from two goals down to beat Nyamityobora.
