Kenneth Waiswa struck a brutal half century of 75 not out off 46 balls as champion elect Aziz Damani outclassed Ceylon Lions by 136 runs  Sunday at Lugogo oval.

Having already sealed the league, Damani are just one win away from completing an unbeaten campaign this season. They have simply been magnificent!

The match was awarded after Ceylon Lions abandoned play and still the game was played on 26 overs due to a wet outfield.

Saud Islam got the scoreboard moving with a modest score of 41 from 23 balls on the way to 200 for 5 wickets courtesy of Simon Ssesazi's 2/35 in 5overs.

Anushka Perera knocked a game best half century of 81 from 37 balls for the chasing Ceylon Lions who managed a mere 164. Damani lead the standings on 76 points.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Kahar scored a century of 107 from 114 balls as second placed Kutchi Tigers defeated topflight debutants Strikers by 102 runs at Kyambogo oval.

At the Entebbe oval, Irfan Afridi was impressive with both bat and ball scoring 67 from 56 balls and an overwhelming 8 wickets as KICC overcame bottom side Premier by 182 runs.
