A scoring crisis is one of the challenges that Uganda Cranes have encountered in their previous games.

As they prepare to take on neighbours Tanzania in the AFCON qualifier this Saturday at Mandela National stadium, Namboole this is one of the concerns coach Sebastien Desabre has to address.

Emmanuel Okwi and Derrick Nsibambi will lead Cranes striking force. But these two can only deliver if playmakers such as Luwaga Kizito and  Farouk Miya among others will up to expectations.

"The weekend game won't be an easy one. This is an East African derby. We shall give our best to ensure that we win. The competition is good which also motivates us," said Luwaga.

Tanzania who will arrive in the country Thursday are likely to miss some of their key players after six of Simba SC players were dropped from the team by head coach Emmanuel Amunike due to indiscipline.

Cranes top Group L on three points which consists of Tanzania, Lesotho and Cape Verde. They beat Cape Verde 1-0 in the opening game of the qualifiers last year. Tanzania and Lesotho both share a point having played to a one all draw in their opening group game.
