Uganda national U-17 team the Cubs beat rivals Kenya 3-1 on Sunday the ongoing CAF U17 regional qualifiers in Tanzania to pick up their second consecutive victory.

Yiga Najib gave Uganda the lead in the 45th minute before Ezekiel Nyakundi levelled matters for Kenya in the 74 minute.

Five minutes later, Uganda took the lead again through Ibrahim Juma's penalty before Ivan Asaba scored Cubs other goal to make it 3-1. Kenya also missed a penalty in the 53rd minute that was saved by Cubs goalkeeper Delton Oyo.

Uganda remains third on the table in Group B iwth six points. Ethiopia leads the group with 9 points, while South Sudan is fourth with 3 points, Djibouti comes last without a point.

They will play Djibouti in the last group fixture this Wednesday. The best two nations from each group (A and B) will qualify for the semi-final.

The winner of the tourney will represent the CECAFA region in the finals of the Africa U17 Cup of Nations in May next year.
