FUFA Competitions Committee has postponed the second semi-final game between Onduparaka and SC Villa in the Pilsner Super 8. 

The semi-final match that had been scheduled for this Thursday at Green Light stadium, Arua has been called off due to the security situation in Arua. A new date for semi-final will be announced later.

KCCA FC on Tuesday became the first team to reach the final of the Pilsner Super 8 after humbling new league entrants Nyamityobora 4-0 at StarTimes stadium,Lugogo.

Patrick Kaddu, who was man of the match, scored a brace before Allan Okello and Lawrence Bukenya added the other goals for the Lugogo side. Kaddu also walked away with a cash prize of sh150, 000 for his performance.

The Pilsner Super 8 is a pre-season tournament played by the top six teams from last season's topflight league and two clubs that were promoted directly from FUFA Big League to Uganda Premier League.

The tournament is sponsored by Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) who injected sh90m under their brand Pilsner.

The single-tie knockout tournament is the first of its kind. A prize money of sh30m will be shared by all eight clubs with the winner walking away with sh10m, while the runner-up receives sh5m.

The final will be expected to be  played on August 25 at venue yet to be confirmed.
