The National U-17 soccer team is optimistic that it will put up a good show in the CAF U17 regional qualifiers that gets underway this weekend. The two weeks event runs from August 11 to 26 in Tanzania.

"Our dream is to be in AFCON. The boys are in good shape, team officials are like parents to the players, so my commitment is that we are planning to comeback with good results," said Rasoul Ariga, the leader of delegation.

"Djibouti, our neighbours Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan are teams we have played before and with the morale high, we are coming home with the trophy".
