CAF Champions League: KCCA v Township Rollers

Gambia's Bakary Papa Gassama will officiate the CAF Champions League match between KCCA and Botswana's Township Rollers.

The two sides faceoff in the return leg at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on August 18 with Township Rollers having won the first leg 1-0 in May.

Gassama was part of the match officials at the just concluded 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

He will be assisted by Sulayman Sosseh and Addul Aziz Jawo.

Esperance who have qualified for the quarterfinals, top Group A with ten points, three above second placed Al-Ahly. Township Rollers and KCCA are third and fourth respectively with three points each.

KCCA's chances of making it to the last eight are slim after they lost 1-0 to Esperance at home in July.

The Lugogo side can now only qualify out of the group if they win beat Township Rollers as well as Al-Ahly away, and hope that Al-Ahly drops points against Espérance.
