Dance Off evictions: Who will go first

KAMPALA - It was on July 14, 2018 that 14 selected dance crews entered the Dance Off boot camp at a secret location in Kampala.

The minute they were in the house after a rigorous audition process, one thing was certain for these finalists, impress or you are out. It is from this group that the finest Ugandan dance crew will be selected.

Last Sunday, after two weeks of polishing their dance skills, the 14 competing crews put up an impressive show at their secret mansion but, four fell short.

The Oldies, Luo Fame, 24/7 dance crew and Luo revolution all failed to impress the judges.

The journey of three of these crews and their dream to win millions in prize money will come to an end on Sunday.

Only one out of the four dance crews will be saved this weekend, as evictions start on the Dance off Competition.

The search for Uganda's finest dance crew all started on April 7, 2018 with auditions in Gulu, then later Mbarara, Mbale and Kampala where viewers and judges picked the best 14 crews.

Of the 14, the winner of this first season of "Dance Off" dubbed "The Genesis," will walk away with sh. 30million.

The first and second runners-up will walk away with sh.15million and sh.5million respectively.

Solo dancers also continue their journey on Dance Off having been selected from a large group that auditioned.

One dancer will be dropped each week for the 10 weeks of the boot camp, until the finest dancer is picked by viewers. The winner will walk away with sh.1m.

Exciting for the viewers at home will be the home challenge. You will have to record yourself dance and share the clip via WhatsApp to win weekly prices.
