Maxime seeks challenge against Asaf

BUSIIKA - Motocross team captain, Maxime Van pee is targeting a win in Busiika, but prays that former Champion, Asaf Natan turns up to give him a challenge.

Maxime said,"I am ready for the challenge in Busiika on Sunday July 29 but it will be a good race if Asaf Natan turns up."

Maxime is fourth on the national standings with 107 points having missed several events due to a knee injury sustained last year in August during the FIM Africa Nations Motocross Championship in Botswana.

However, Maxime will also face tough Challenge from Arthur Blick Jr, who is targeting his eleventh national motocross championship crown.

Blick leads the MX1 class with 206 points, followed by Olivier Van Pee who will miss this weekend's event due to an injury.

The event will be used as training for riders who will represent Uganda in the FIM Africa Nations Motocross Championship in August 17-19 in Zambia.

The event will be telecasted live on urban Tv channels 288 on DSTV, Startimes-130, GoTV-375, DSTV 288, and Zuku-38.

The one-day event is co-sponsored by Mountain Dew, Vision Group under the Urban Tv brand, Safe Solutions, Shell Advance Oil and Lato Milk, Cherish Hospital and Molecule Engineering and Uganda Lodges.
