CAF appoints match officials ahead of KCCA - Tunisia game

The two sides faceoff in the return leg this Saturday at Mandela National stadium,Namboole.

KAMPALA - Africa soccer governing body (CAF) has appointed, matches officials for the CAF Champions League game between KCCA and Tunisian giants Esperance.

The two sides faceoff in the return leg this Saturday at Mandela National stadium, Namboole with KCCA having given away the 2-0 lead to be defeated 3-2  in the first leg last week in Tunis.

Zambia's Janny Sikazwe who recently officiated at the just concluded 2018 World Cup in Russia will be the centre referee. He will be assisted by fellow compatriots Oliver Mweene and Chansa Kabwe as the first and second assistant referees respectively.

Esperance top group A with seven points, three above second placed Al-Ahly. Township Rollers and KCCA come third and fourth respectively with three points each.

Township Rollers who were defeated 3-0 by Al-Ahly last week will face again the Egyptians in the return leg this Saturday in Bostwana.

Kenyan officials Davies Ogenche Omweno , Gilbert Cheruiyot and Tony Kidiya  will be charge of the game as centre referee, first and second assistants respectively.

Township Rollers is home for Uganda Cranes midfielder Ivan Ntege.
