The Dustville rapper has been quiet for a while.
Trap music is gaining ground in Uganda and if you listen carefully to rapper Pryce Teeba of the Side Zeeno fame, you will get the feel of our own Ugandan trap music.
The Dustville rapper has been quiet for a while until he showed up late last year on RnB singer Cosign’s Body to Body single that received some good airplay on Kampala’s urban radio. Well, the trap lord is back with a full EP he chose to name Just Another Project.
Fusing trap rhymes with catchy melodies, Pryce Teeba has been penning new material since early 2016. When you listen to his new material you will feel influences from American Hip Hop artistes such as T.I,Tory Lanes, Travis Scott,JuicyJ or even some Kendrick Lamar. It is such a good listen if you like bumping some feel good hip hop in your car or in your room.
Pryce’s eclectic background has seen him craft his own niche within the hip-hop/Trap genre over the last five years he has been in the game.
The new three-track re-fix EP ‘Just Another Project’ produced by Baru showcases Teeba’s attention to detail, chilled out rhymes and modified rhythms. The tracks see Pryce’s catchy vocals weaving above well-crafted trap instrumental beats, as piano, synth and percussion neatly intertwine. As we speak Pryce Teeba is working tirelessly to have his Kash Crop mixtape on the market before 2018 ends.
