The Rural Electrification Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Energy for Rural Transformation Phase Three - ERT III (Uganda), and intends to apply part of the proceeds through a Memorandum of Understanding it has signed with Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) to support the strengthening of the National Quality Assurance framework for PV systems. The Individual consulting services ("the Services") for the assignment will be to establish the status of the national quality assuarance framework in Uganda related to plug and Play SHS and PICO solar products and solar individual components, identification and adoption of national standards.
