Reduce taxes- Kakeeto asks Government

Kakeeto said the recent incidents of murder and kidnap of children and women is creating fear countrywide.

KAMPALA - The Amir of the Tabliq sect, Sheikh Sulaiman Kakeeto, has asked Government to reduce on taxes and improve on the health sector, and protect the citizens against murders.
 
Kakeeto said the recent incidents of murder and kidnap of children and women is creating fear countrywide.
 
"People are living in fear, we do not know if we are safe at all, we need to pray for our children and the entire country," he said.
 
Commenting on the economy, Kakeeto told Government to also reduce on the high taxes saying that they are not so friendly to the trader.
 
"People are being taxed heavily, Government should do something," he told the congregation.
 
He also asked the Muslims to continue praying for the nation saying that there is nothing impossible in the eye of Allah. He warned them not to get involved in acts which will cause them to be implicated in violence.
 
"I am requesting you to remain holy even after this season of fasting," He said
