Entebbe expressway commisioning
The Entebbe expressway is Uganda's first highway. It is arguably the most beautiful piece of Uganda's growing stock of infrastructure.

ENTEBBE - President Yoweri Museveni together with the chairperson of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Wang Yang presided over the commisioning of the Kampala- Entebbe expressway on Friday evening in Mpala, Entebbe.
The Entebbe expressway is Uganda's first highway. It is arguably the most beautiful piece of Uganda's growing stock of infrastructure.

It is also a major milestonein a win-winpartenership that the People's Republic of China has built with the Government of Uganda.
The high-way was funded through loan contributions from the Government.
Uganda secured a $350m (over sh1.2trillion) loan from Exim bank for the project and the Government contributed $126m(sh453b).
