Ssewanyana says that by the time they reached Walakira's home, the two children had already died.

The victims were admitted at St. Francis Naggalama hospital. He said that among the whole family members, only the three-weeks-baby survived, saying it could be because she did not feed on the suspected poisoned food.

Walakira and one of his children were steadily recovering, whereas the wife, Salma Babirye and the other boy were not yet okay.

It is reported that the Police went to the scene, picked the deceased and took them to Mulago Hospital for postmortem.
