Nsibambi joins Egyptian team

EGYPT - Former KCCA FC striker, Derrick Nsibambi has joined the Egyptian side, Smouha on a three year contract.
 
"Smouha Club announces its contract with Uganda's striker Derrick Nsibambi, welcome to Smouha," the Egyptian club confirmed on its social media platform.
 
Nsibambi, who was left out last  Thursday when KCCA thrashed Synergy 9-0 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup travelled to Egypt on Sunday with his agent, Geoffrey Kayemba for medical and also finalise his move.  
 
The former Kireka United player scored nine goals in the league last season.
 
Nsibambi  joins Hassan Wasswa (El Geish) and Isaac Muleme (Al Asyouty Sport) as the other Ugandans currently playing in the Egyptian top tier league.
 
He is expected to return to the country on Friday to prepare himself before he flies back to Egypt.
 
Smouha finished fifth last season in the Egyptian topflight league with 51 points.
