Rukundo, Asiimwe to fly business class after winning Netherlands Golf

After their feat, the two will now fly business class to the Netherlands courtesy of Dutch Airline KLM who were co-sponsors of the fourth edition.

KITANTE - Paul Rukundo and Evelyn Asiimwe returned 42 and 38 stable ford points respectively to top the Netherlands Business Golf Cup tournament at Kitante on Saturday.
 
After their feat, the two will now fly business class to the Netherlands courtesy of Dutch Airline KLM who were co-sponsors of the fourth edition of the one-day tournament.
 
Netherlands' ambassador to Uganda, Henk Jan Bakker presided over the one-day tournament organised by the Netherlands Embassy to stimulate the good relationship between Uganda and Netherlands; and also to strengthen trade and business ties between the two countries.
 
Co-sponsors representatives Marcj Van Esch (Shares), Gilbert Assi (Vivo Energy), Lukia Otema (KLM), Deon Newwort (Sadolin paint) and Paul van Apeldoorn (dfcu) also gave away prizes to the different outstanding golfers in the men and ladies groups A-C.
 
Each of the group winners; Rodwel Gaita (Group A), Isaac Nsereko (Group B), Dan Lyagaba (Group C) and South Korea ambassador to Uganda Kim You Churl (Group D) as well as Katy Kabenge, Gertrude Kityo and Sarah Jordan who topped the ladies' groups received fuel vouchers worth sh500000 each while the runners up from each group received gift vouchers from Shares while the second runners up also received gift hampers from dfcu bank.
 
Lady golfers, Katy Kabenge and Candy Mpanga who was the overall ladies' winner last year made podium finishes for the third year running from the same tournament.
 
Golfers later danced to the beats of Code 9 band as they made merry after a sumptuous dinner at the 19 hole.
