Buyaga East MP Musana involved in an accident

Buyaga East MP Eric Musana is in critical condition after he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Kampala. Musana has reportedly been rushed to Mityana Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Although New Vision is yet to get the details of the accident, preliminary information indicates that Musana suffered a head injury that requires him transferred to Kampala. Information from Parliament indicates that the Tuesday early morning accident occurred on Mityana road.

Nsimbe Kasim from Parliament's communications office said Parliament has dispatched a team of medical officers to establish the health condition of the MP. "We have not yet established the full details of what happened but Parliament has dispatched a medical team to establish the status of his health and whether he needs to be transferred to Kampala," Nsimbe said.
