The club president has however called upon the two coaches to resolve their differences

SC Villa assistant coach, Paul Mutakabala, has denied reports that he has stepped down from his role at the club.

Sources at the club had indicate that Mutakabala decided to not to quit until club president, Ben Misagga, intervenes on the ongoing conflict between him and head coach, Wasswa Bbosa.

"I have not stepped down. But I want to first meet the president (Misagga) to see the way forward," stated Mutakabala.

On Saturday, Mutakabala took to social media to accuse Bbosa of attacking him after Villa's 1-0 defeat to UPDF.

Mukatabala has taken charge of Villa for the last three league games, after Bbosa was slapped with a four-match ban over attacking match officials.

"The last straw is for you (Bbosa) to angrily confront me immediately after the UPDF match today, and even try to get physical, accusing me of having deliberately allowed UPDF to defeat you and SC Villa," Mukatabala posted.

Misagga has however called upon the two coaches to resolve their differences.

"The national league is a jungle. Whoever fights like a lion remains in the heat of the game; those two are not my kids. Does he want me to cane Bbosa or banish him?" Misagga asked.

"I hear that they have a feud, but none of them has ever complained formally. Let them grow up, I do not groom coaches," he stated.
