Uganda’s tail-enders Immaculate Nakisuyi and Franklyn Najjumba combined for 62 scoring 34 and 28 respectively on the way to Uganda’s 104.
Zimbabwe’s chasing efforts were restricted to 97 all out courtesy of Rita Musamali’s 2 wickets. Pellagia Mujaji had reached 24 from 17 balls before she was run out as Uganda lived to their status as African Champions.
