Respect other road users, rally fans told

As the SMC Masaka rally draws closer, fans have been urged to respect other road users during the event.

FMU president Dusman Okee made appeal during the launch of the rally on Tuesday  at the National Council of Sports Lugogo.

“Masaka road is a deadly road. I appeal to all rally fans to be cautious and use the road responsibly considering because we want to have an accident free event,” Okee said.

Meanwhile, rally Clerk of the Course (COC) David Nsobya has said everything is in place and drivers will compete in a Super Special Stage at Kako on Saturday totalling to 2.8km on double circuit.

Then they will on Sunday compete in the remaining five sections that will include Linda Stage of 41.56km that start from Kabakuza to Kalisizo, Tramigo (41.17KM) from Bukeri to Kyotera, Wildwide Movers (24.75Km) and Mj Safari (11.05km).
