Uganda Pro Circuit Tennis Event

Over 200 players from around the world will feature in the Uganda Pro Circuit Tennis event (UG PRO Circuit 2018), according to Uganda Tennis Association chairman Cedric Babu.
Babu was speaking at the launch of the Uganda Pro Circuit Tennis at Tennis Complex, Lugogo.
"We expect more than 200 players from different parts of the world. This event is going to bring an impact to the economy in terms of accommodation," stated Babu.
After a seven year hiatus, local tennis is set to glow again. Three months after being readmitted by world body ITF, Uganda Tennis Association is set to host one of its biggest events ever.
The Uganda Pro Circuit Tennis with $60,000 (sh220m) in cash prizes, will run from April 27 to May 28 at the Lugogo complex.
The event is being sponsored by Vision Group, International Tennis Federation (ITF), Grand Slam development fund, National Council of Sports, Uganda Tourism Board, KCCA, Stanbic Bank, Shax Extra, Jibu Water, Tusker Tusker lite, National Informational Technology Authority and Uganda Olympic Committee.
