Chapa, Maria's Cargo join Kabaka Run

Kabushenga thanked the Chapa General Enterprises and Maria’s Cargo International for their contributions towards the Kabaka Run.

Chapa General Enterprises and Maria's Cargo International are the latest to join this year's Kabaka's Birthday Run due April 8, starting from Bulange Mengo.

Hajji Rashid Ssenyonga, the director of the company that distributes Prestige Margarine, Toss Soap and Sun Seed Oil handed over the sh2m to Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga at his offices in Kikuubo, downtown Kampala.

"This is part of our social corporate responsibility, but we are delighted to be associated with Vision Group in  fighting sickle cells anemia," Ssenyonga said.

Joseph Nsimbwa, Maria's Cargo International General Manager lauded Vision Group for the good work done in sensitising the public about their health and urged all Ugandans to embrace the cause.

"Besides being our corporate social responsibility, it is the responsibility of all Ugandan's to support such a noble cause because a healthy population makes a good economy of the country," Nsimbwa explained.

The officer in charge of of Buganda Bus Park Police post, Aggrey Wakabi lauded Vision Group for the support to the Kabaka's call and urged the public to participate.
