KISORO - Police in Kisoro district have arrested a-27-year old man, suspected to have been in connection with the murder of Jonas Mugisha, a teacher at Rwanzu Primary School.
Mugisha was murdered on March 24, and the suspect, according to the Police, is James Maniragaba.
“Maniraguha is a resident of Gatobo village, Busengo parish, Nyarubuye sub-county and is Mugisha’s son. The two had a land conflict,” Elly Maate, the Kigezi Police spokesperson, said.
He said Maniragaba was arrested from a hideout. Maate said according to eyewitnesses, Maniragaba was with his father a day before he (Mugisha) was murdered. Matte said investigations are still going on.
