Police stuck with unidentified body

RUKIGA - The Police in Rukiga district are stranded with a body of an unidentified man, who was recovered in a swamp on Sunday.

According to Kigezi Police spokesperson Elly Maate the body was recovered in a swamp in Kitindi village, Kibanda parish in Kamwezi sub-county at 10:00am.

It is believed the man was swept by floods that resulted from heavy down pour on Saturday.

Mate said the Police visited the scene and took his remains to Kabale Referral Hospital for a postmortem.

The Police appeals to anyone with a missing relative to visit the hospital mortuary so that they identify the body.
