Ugandans attend CAF women football meet in Morocco

Sseninde attended the symposium at the invitation of Africa soccer governing body CAF .

FUFA executive member Agnes Mugena and FUFA deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu together with the Crested Cranes player Jean Sseninde were the representatives from Uganda to the CAF Women football symposium in Marrakech, Morocco

The two day symposium that ended on Tuesday was to find ways to grow the sport.

Sseninde attended the symposium at the invitation of Africa soccer governing body CAF .

"I have learnt a lot from this women's symposium. I hope that all we have learnt can be put into practice then women's football will go even far in our country. I am very happy to have received a special invite by CAF as African player," Sseninde said.

Mugena who is the executive member in charge of women football said the symposium gave them a new dimension on how they look at the sport.

"Such symposiums help us understand the way football is governed. Women football has many challenges and we are sure that the resolutions from this symposiums will turn the game into the best around the continent," noted Mugena

Active and former players, referees, coaches, media and experts in various areas of the game from FIFA and other Confederations took part.
