The Ndejje University volleyball head coach Johnson Kawenyeera has applauded his girls for the good show they displayed during the Ndejje Open over the weekend at their home in Luwero.
A total of 30 volleyball teams took part in a two day tournament that started on Saturday and ended on Sunday with a ladies match in the clubs category between Ndejje and Sport-S.
Due to the heavy rains experienced on the second day of the tournament, games started late which affected the order of the day, the men's match against Nemostars and Ndejje was postponed to Thursday.
However, ladies were able to complete their call as teams were less compared to the mens' teams that embraced the event.
With the help of Harriet Ikapel, Ndejje's attack force took the lead from the start to the final whistle, reaching the final without losing a single set.
