20-year-old murdered in Rubanda

RUBANDA - Police in Rubanda is looking for assailants who murdered a 20-years-old man.

The victim has been identified as Anthony Saturday, a resident of Kitwego cell, Kacerere parish, Bufundi sub-county in Rubanda district.

According to Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional Police spokesperson, Saturday was found on Friday morning lying unconscious a few metres from his home. He was rushed to Rugarama Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Maate said Saturday's head and jaw were crashed. He called anyone with information that could lead the Police to the suspects to come forward.
